Jesus managed to always be comfortable disrupting the status quo. Associating with broken people took priority over protecting his reputation and adhering to social standards. But the question is why? What motive propelled Jesus to revolt against society and live so close to the edge? That was true 20 centuries ago, and it’s still true today.
